CONTROLLER

Summary

We are a wholesale food distributor headquartered in Miami, Florida. We are seeking a Controller to become a permanent member of our team! The controller will handle high-level accounting and managerial accounting and oversee the company's financial activities. As head of the accounting department, the controller will manage and supervise all aspects of accounting. Duties include:

Accounts Payable & Receivable

· Calculate Artist Commission monthly for quarter end closing

· Identify outstanding debts and make collection calls

· Review and monitor aging reports to identify trends and/or high-risk accounts.

· Processing daily invoices and resolving discrepancies

· Issue credit memos and generate weekly aging reports

· Accounting Assistance

· Manage daily financial transactions, including verifying and classifying

· Complete monthly Reconciliation and assist with month end closing

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

· Proficient in Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Excel and Word

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Detail oriented and highly organized

· Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks

· Excellent critical thinking skills

Education, experience and licensing requirements:

· 4 year Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· 5 years’ experience in accounting and finance sector

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000 - $105,000.00 per year
