Rap Snacks launched our ICON series of flavors some years ago. We made a conscious decision to memorialize many of the “G.O.A.Ts” (greatest of all-time) of hip hop, using their images on our snack bags to further their legacy. Recently, another potato chip brand unveiled their own G.O.A.T bag, featuring internationally renowned athlete Lionel Messi. The design is undoubtedly Rap Snacks-like, as is the G.O.A.T. concept. Further, the flavor chosen was cheddar jalapeno. Our Notorious B.I.G. icon bag is a honey jalapeno flavor and we introduced a cheddar jalapeno flavor in collaboration with Slutty Vegan restaurant in the past, also. Rap Snacks has always been and will always be an innovator in the industry and we refuse to allow any brand to encroach on our legacy.
Before the larger brands embraced the richness of the flavoring that we’ve always been known for, we dared to be different. We were proud to introduce honey barbecue flavored chips, well before it was considered standard. Rap Snacks considered innovation and risk-taking with flavor profiles as standard operating procedure from the start and now, the industry is catching up. We’re not angry when others attempt to co opt our style because they can only catch up to our innovation: we choose to remain focused on creating the next idea that others will attempt to latch onto. When you set the trends, you never worry about what others are doing. When you lead the pack, you don’t worry about who’s running beside you. Innovation, bold exploration and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others sums up the Rap Snacks brand and that’s not something anyone else can put in a bag.
